6 min readVendor claims verified Oct 12, 2026

The short answer

Timo is an AI concierge built to sell while it answers: it offers the right extra and writes the order into your PMS, for 8-10 EUR per room per month, live within a day. Conduit is a platform of AI agents priced by portfolio, from 899 USD a month for up to 25 units. Conduit's own ranking calls Timo the cheaper entry point.

Answering guests saves you money. Selling to them makes you money. That is the difference between a cost and a sales channel.

The two options

Timo

Our product

The AI concierge that turns guest questions into revenue: it sells the early check-in, the upgrade and the airport transfer while it answers, 24/7 on phone, WhatsApp and email.

Best for: Hotels, hostels and serviced apartments that want reception to stop being a cost and start being a sales channel, this month.

Timo is a concierge, not an answering machine. It knows the booking, offers the right extra at the right moment, on the call or in the chat, and writes the order into your PMS. It picks up the phone and replies on WhatsApp and email in the guest's language, from one unified inbox with the full guest history. It reaches out first too: arrival instructions, the early check-in offer, the late checkout the night before. What needs a person goes to your team with the whole conversation attached, and every call and message lands in one dashboard with recordings, transcripts and what was sold. Timo is trained on 18,500+ AI upsell calls and is live in 5 properties with guests from 20+ countries. At Ambiente Apartments in Bratislava it is the first line for 60+ apartments: a 9.0 guest rating, 30% fewer repetitive messages at the front desk and 3-5% extra revenue from upsells. It works with Mews today, a first version can be live within a day, and it costs 8-10 EUR per room per month with no commitment.

Conduit

Checked Oct 12, 2026

A platform of AI agents for guest operations in hotels and vacation rentals, with pricing that scales with an operator's portfolio.

Best for: Operators with a portfolio of units, and groups that want AI agents acting across many connected systems.

Conduit describes itself as AI agents for guest operations, for hotels and vacation rentals, and says it was founded in 2024 and is based in San Francisco. Its integrations page names 19 property management systems, including Mews, Cloudbeds, Opera Cloud, Apaleo and Guesty, and it publishes 300+ hospitality brands in 120+ countries. Its pricing page says pricing scales with a hospitality operator's portfolio: a Startup plan for 0 to 25 units costs 899 USD per month, and four packages start at 18, 30, 36 and 48 USD per unit per month. Usage runs on credits, and its documentation says an AI voice minute uses 8 credits. Its company page says first automations typically take two to four weeks, followed by another four to eight weeks reviewing real requests with your team. In its own roundup it writes that Conduit is a platform, not a single-purpose phone bot, so if all you want is an after-hours answering service it is more than you need. Its ranking of hotel voice agents calls Timo the cheaper entry point.

Do not ask us. Ask Conduit.

On 30 September 2026 Conduit published its own ranking of AI voice agents for hotels. Timo is in it. Here is what our competitor wrote about us:

  • Timo and Conduit are the two products in the ranking that publish a price, and Timo is the cheaper entry point.
  • For a single independent property testing whether an AI receptionist is worth it, the published price and the absence of a lock-in are the reason to start here. Here means Timo.

And in its roundup of AI receptionists for independent hotels, Conduit adds a warning about itself: it is a platform, not a single-purpose phone bot, so if all you want is your phone answered after hours, it is more than you need.

We could not have put it better. So we did not.

Your reception costs money. Ours makes it.

Most AI receptionists are sold as a way to answer faster. Fine. Answering faster saves you a little. Selling while you answer pays for the whole thing.

Timo is a concierge, not an answering machine. A guest writes at 06:52 that they land at nine. Timo sees the booking, sees the room is free, offers early check-in for 25 EUR, and puts it on the reservation in your PMS. Reception finds it in the system in the morning. Nobody had to remember to ask.

  • Early check-in and late checkout, sold the day before, not explained at the desk.
  • Room upgrades, offered when the better room is actually free.
  • Parking, transfers, breakfast, spa, added to the stay in one sentence.

This is not a slide. Timo is trained on 18,500+ AI upsell calls. At Ambiente Apartments in Bratislava, where it is the first line for 60+ apartments, it brings 3-5% extra revenue from upsells, with a 9.0 guest rating and 30% fewer repetitive messages at the front desk.

Conduit offers upgrades through its workflows product, as one part of a wider platform. Timo is built around the sale.

Your guests want to spend more. Is anyone asking them?

899 dollars before the first call

Conduit's pricing page says its pricing scales with a hospitality operator's portfolio. For 25 units or fewer the plan is called Startup and costs 899 USD a month. Above that, packages start at 18 to 48 USD per unit per month. Usage runs on credits, and its documentation says an AI voice minute uses 8 credits, so it is worth asking what a month of your call volume comes to.

Timo's price is on the website. 8-10 EUR per room per month. Monthly subscription, no commitment. Phone, WhatsApp and email in the same price. 0 EUR implementation on a PMS we already have connected. There is a calculator that shows what Timo saves at your number of rooms before you talk to anyone.

Less than one salary. More than one receptionist.

Live tomorrow, not in weeks

A first version of Timo can be live within a day: we load your FAQs and house rules, you call it and test it, you switch it on for guests. From there we tune it on real conversations, while it is already answering them.

Conduit's company page describes a longer path, which fits a platform: first automations typically take two to four weeks, followed by another four to eight weeks reviewing real requests with your team.

A concierge for your hotel, not a platform for a portfolio

Conduit is a platform: packages, credits, guest portals, workflows and devices, priced per unit. For an operator with a portfolio and a team to run it, that breadth is the point.

A hotel with a reception desk usually needs something narrower: someone to pick up the phone at 2 AM, answer the WhatsApp in German, and sell the late checkout while they are at it. That is the job Timo does.

Timo is built for European hotels, with GDPR in mind and EU data residency, and it is priced in EUR per room. Every call and message lands in one dashboard, with the recording, the transcript and what was sold. Your night shift does not write reports. Ours does.

Which one is for you

Choose Conduit if you manage a portfolio of units or a group, want AI agents that act across many connected systems, and have the weeks and the team for a platform rollout.

Choose Timo if you run a hotel, hostel or serviced apartments and want extras sold in every conversation, with the phone, WhatsApp and email answered, live within a day, at 8-10 EUR per room per month with no commitment. That is also where Conduit's own ranking points a single independent property.

Do not take our word for it. Call her.

We could describe what Timo sounds like on the phone. Or you could find out in the next minute.

Call Timea, our AI concierge: +420 910 928 927. Ask her anything you would ask a receptionist.

By calling, you agree to talk to an AI agent, that the call may be recorded, and that we may contact you afterwards about Timo.

Where the facts come from

We build Timo, and this page is our case for it. What it says about Conduit was read on conduit.ai and docs.conduit.ai on 12 October 2026: its pricing and company pages, its credits documentation, its ranking of AI voice agents for hotel phone calls (30 September 2026) and its roundup of AI receptionist software for independent hotels. If Conduit changes any of it, tell us and we will update this page.
